The collection consists of one box, 15” x 5” x 10”. It contains mostly paper materials, documents, travel and military records and certificates, newspaper and magazine clippings, a notebook, handwritten slips, and similar items. A small box containing military buttons and insignia is included.
103rd Aero Squadron Logbook Collection (Lafayette Escadrille)
Two of the most prized possessions in the Museum's collection are a pair of logbooks recording events related to the 103rd Aero Squadron from the First World War. These two logbooks give insight into the thrilling combat stories of the squadron, as well as the more mundane day to day activities of its members.
Philip R. Babcock Personal Papers
Philip Babcock served with the 88th Aero Squadron in the First World War. This Collection documents his life and the history of the squadron.
Errold G. Bahl Personal Papers
Errold G. Bahl (EGB, October 26, 1894 – October 26, 1930) was one of the early birds of aviation, an aircraft pilot, mechanic, barnstormer, and entrepreneur. He attended the School of Military Aeronautics, flew in Latin America, was a mentor to Lindbergh, and formed the Harding, Zook and Bahl Airplane Corporation. This collection includes material relating to his life in aviation, as well as the Harding, Zook and Bahl Corporation.

The collection contains materials collected by and related to Charles John Biddle during his time with the French Air Service during World War I. The material includes personal letters to his family, photos, and media from France during that time. The collection includes documents, correspondence, news articles and clippings, and photographs.

Richard Denbo Personal Papers
Richard M. Denbo was born on March 10, 1897 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Denbo served as an aviation engine mechanic. He transferred his interest as an auto mechanic to aircraft engines when he enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1917. He was assigned to the 80th as Chauffeur-Mechanic in the 805th Aero Squadron in France and England between January 22, 1918, and June 5, 1919.
