Biographical / Historical
Kenneth F. Thoman was born February 13, 1925 to Albert and Eugenie Thoman in Connecticut. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific as a crew member of Navy PB4Y-1 (B-24). He worked as a Flight Engineer for American Airlines for 41 years and also was an active Boy Scout parent and leader for 40 years, with Troop 28 Wenham Mass and Troop 65 Trumbull. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hiking, and fishing... either with his sons, with the Scouts, or on his own. He was a resident of Trumbull, Connecticut, for 48 years before passing away on December 1, 2014. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
