The collection contains Daniel’s personal papers, manuscripts, newspaper articles, magazines, and close to 30,000 aircraft images. It covers the history of aviation from the 1930s to 2000s.

Biographical / Historical
Charles Daniels was a member of the 8th Photos Recon Squadron and 82nd Tactical Recon Squadron during World War II. He wrote several manuscripts on the history of the 82nd Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, 8th Photo Reconnaissance Squadron in the 1940s, and aviatrix, Mary Haizlip. After his military service, Mr. Daniels documented air races, air shows, international airports and aviation museums with photography.

Abstract
Charles Daniels was a member of the 8th Photos Recon Squadron and 82nd Tactical Recon Squadron during World War II. After the War he took and collected thousands of rare aircraft photos from all over the World.
